• preferred dates of stay;
• requested holiday home: Au Cœur de la Forêt, in Obersteigen;

• content of the message sent via the contact form.

• reply to requests sent via the contact form;
• manage booking requests;
• prepare a quote or a stay proposal;
• follow up on the customer relationship;
• comply with our administrative, accounting and legal obligations.

Legal basis for processing

Data is processed as part of pre-contractual or contractual measures when you contact us with a stay or booking request. Some data may also be kept to comply with our legal obligations, particularly accounting obligations.

Retention period

Data relating to contact or booking requests is kept for as long as necessary to process the request. Prospective customers’ data may be kept for up to 3 years from the last contact. Accounting documents, such as invoices, must be kept for 10 years.

Data recipients

The data collected is intended solely for Les Clés des Explorateurs.

It is not sold, rented or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

They may, however, be shared with technical service providers strictly necessary for the operation of the site: the website and email host (IONOS) and the site’s backup storage (Google Drive).

Data security

Les Clés des Explorateurs takes reasonable measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Your rights

In accordance with the applicable regulations, you have the right to access, rectify, object to, erase, restrict and port your personal data.

Cookies

The site only uses cookies and storage items that are necessary for it to work properly, for example to remember that you have closed the information banner. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Audience measurement is carried out directly on our hosting, anonymously and without cookies: no IP address is stored and statistics are kept for 13 months.

Google reviews

The Reviews page presents the reviews published on our Google listing, thanks to the Trustindex service. When reviews are displayed, your browser loads elements (formatting, icons, profile pictures of the authors) from the servers of Trustindex and Google, which receive technical data such as your IP address. Les Clés des Explorateurs does not use these services to track you or for advertising purposes.
