Late October – mid-November 2026
Autumn dresses the Vosges in red and gold. This is the best season to walk in the forest around the cottage: the castle of Wangenbourg, the Nideck waterfall or the Schneeberg rock can be discovered in a soft light, far from the summer crowds.
Think of walking shoes and a sweater: mornings are cool at altitude.
